1 This is an incredibly busy month for Taste, today we'll be spending the day rehearsing and preparing for lots of opportunities to lead worship in the next few weeks as well as the schools work we will be doing! • Ed and Jon head to Birmingham for a 24 hour Evangelists specialist Gathering – please pray this will be a fruitful time meeting with others who are involved leading evangelistic organisations.
2 Taste have a second day of rehearsing after some weeks of recording. Please pray that as Andy Keel finishes off the last few touches to the songs that he has the opportunity and patience to perfect the final mix.
3 Ed, Laura and Andy Keel head to Eastbourne to the Children's and Families Ministry Conference exhibiting Arise Ministries and specifically promote the brand new resource 'The Great Hot Cross Bun Hunt'. Pray for the conversations they will have with many people involved in children's ministry.
4 Please pray for Sarah, Joe, Dave and Naomi as they consider what the Lord has for them next year. Pray that He will lead and guide them, helping them to take the right steps as they think about the opportunities that lay before them. • Please pray for Andy and Joy as they look to shape of next year's band, that they offer 2nd year opportunities to the right team members.
5 Taste travel to Hopton in Suffolk, set up at the High Street Chapel and lead worship as they prepare the church for the week of schools work at Blackbourne Middle School. • Jon is Preaching at Girton Baptist Church, Cambridge this morning, and Avenue Baptist Church, Southend this evening.
6 Jon will be putting together applications for fundraising; please pray as we seek a fundraiser. • Please for the delegates who attended Children's and Families Ministry Conference, that they will have been challenged as to how they can share Jesus with the children of their communities.
7 Pray for Andy Keel as he finishes off three videos for that will be used at SOLID Remix on the theme 'I am Second'. Pray that they will be finished in time to send to the speaker for the event as he prepares his talks for the evening.
8 The Arise Ministries board is meeting today; please pray for wisdom and guidance, particular as Ed shares with them some of the exciting next steps in terms of the strategy for coming months and years.
9 Please pray for God's provision for our financial needs this month and as we look for supporters who would be willing to stand with us and offer to donate towards our ministry, thanking Him for answered prayer over many years of relying on Him to provide all that we need.
10 Ed has recently taken on a Missional Secondment for the Baptist Union of Great Britain. Please pray for him has he sets aside time to work on some exciting new resources for churches helping them engage, support and value the children they encounter more effectively.
11 Jon is speaking at a Girls' and Boys' Brigade rededication event in Southend tonight.
12 Jon in leading a joint service in Ramsden Bellhouse this morning, and preaching at Avenue Baptist Church, Southend this evening. • Ed is preaching at Abingdon Baptist Church this morning and he and Laura will be leading some equipping sessions this afternoon.
13 Please pray for the wider SOLID team today, over 500 amazing people have volunteered at some point for SOLID over the past 17 years... and without them SOLID wouldn't exist!! So please join with us in thanking God for them and asking He bless them richly for their willingness to help!
14 Please pray for more opportunities to connect with churches and equip them in their evangelism strategies.
15 Taste are involved in an activities week at Thundersley Congregational Church this week. Please pray that as the kids get to know them they will be inspired to find out more about what it means to follow Jesus.
16 Thank God for our supporters and for the opportunities we have to freely share the Gospel as a result of their prayer and generosity.
17 SOLID Remix at Chelmsford cathedral, an event for young people to connect with Jesus and use their gifts to worship Him. Please pray for the young people who attend, that they encounter God in some way this evening.
18 Please pray for Ed and Emma Jones as Emma is 'due' to give birth to their third child today.
19 Jon is preaching at a baptismal service at West Leigh Baptist this morning and at Avenue Baptist Church, Southend this evening.
20 Jon is attending Essex Baptist Association, Minister's Conference at High Leigh. Please pray for good conversations which could enable future ministry among churches. • Den speaking at an Evangelism Conference in California.
21 This is a week of training and work experience for Joe, Sarah, Naomi and Dave. Please pray that as they get to know Ian and Darren who will be leading them this week that they will have a great time, and that they will learn from these great men who have so much experience, love and passion for young people.
22 It's Ann's Birthday! Please pray for her and her family on this special day.
23 It's Sarah's Birthday! Pray for her as she considers where God is leading her in the next year. • Andy Keel is filming with Jon to create the latest Viz-A-Viz update video. Pray that the outcome of this video will inspire churches to partner with Viz-A-Viz in sharing the good news of Jesus.
24 Taste will be travelling to North Yorkshire to spend the weekend with young people from Little Lever near Manchester, it's a long journey, please pray for a safe journey and an efficient setup ready to lead tonight's session.
25 Taste have had many enquiries for schools weeks recently in particular working with friends in Diss. Please pray that as the local workers approach the schools about the possibilities that lie ahead, that those in leadership positions in the school would be keen to take the opportunities being offered to them.
26 Jon is doing some Consultancy for Colchester Baptist Church today and is preaching at West Leigh Baptist Church this evening.
27 Den speaking at the Kentucky Evangelism Conference.
28 The Viz-A-Viz Ministries trustees are meeting tonight. Please pray for our great trustees, that God will guide their conversations and the decisions they make.
29 Please pray for those who will be preparing to run The Great Hot Cross Bun Hunt this Easter. • The SOLID Remix Sports Day Management Team meet today.
